Desert Blossom Candle Company is a family owned small business founded by husband and wife team, Aaron and Myndi, right here in Arizona.

What began as a creative outlet quickly grew into something far beyond what we ever imagined. Today, Desert Blossom Candle Company has become a thriving business built on creativity, resilience, and a deep love for handcrafted products that bring warmth, comfort, and beauty into everyday life.

Before running Desert Blossom full time, Myndi spent 15 years in the insurance industry, specializing in insurance advocacy and helping people navigate difficult situations. In March of 2024, she made the leap to leave corporate life behind and pursue Desert Blossom Candle Company full time, turning a passion into a career. Aaron, a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, continues to serve through nuclear security management while supporting the business behind the scenes.

Together, they are raising four children who keep life busy and full. If you visit us at a market, you may even spot one or more of our kids helping at the booth, restocking products, talking with customers, and learning what it means to help build a family business. Desert Blossom truly is a family effort.

Our brand is deeply inspired by all things desert. From towering saguaros and monsoon skies to hidden creeks, canyon walls, and mountain pines, Arizona’s beauty is woven into everything we create. Our love for traveling this beautiful state has only deepened that inspiration, allowing us to experience and capture the landscapes, scents, and memories that make Arizona so special.

Each and every candle is hand poured by Myndi with incredible attention to detail, using vessels that are often sourced from local businesses whenever possible. We are deeply passionate about supporting other small and family owned businesses by sourcing our wax, fragrance oils, jars, and materials from companies right here in the United States. Local and intentional sourcing is a core part of who we are.
